Visual Studio FsUnit test setup - Exception NUnit.Engine.NUnitEngineException

Vote count: 0 I am using Visual Studio 2013, installed FsUnit 2.2.0, which requires NUnit 3.2.1 and FSharpCore 3.1. I created a separate test project and put a testfixture and test in there. My platform is x64 Win 10. The config is for 'AnyCPU' and 'Debug'. I've tried test settings for x86 and x64. When trying to build and create tests, I get: ------ Discover test started ------ NUnit Adapter 3.2.0.0: Test discovery starting Exception NUnit.Engine.NUnitEngineException, Exception thrown discovering tests in C:UsersDadDocumentsVisual Studio 2013Projects... Pairwise testing: How to create the table from a text file?

Vote count: 0 Hello I have a question regarding how to create the table for the pairwise testing. For example, if I have a table with a list of words (each line contains a single word). E.g.text file contains: red blood animal How do I create a table of input with all possible combination then? Would it look something like this? It gets the line number of word and creates all possible output. I waa an output something like this: | 0 1 2 ----------- 0 | 0 10 11 1 | 10 0 21 2 | 11 12 0 asked 44 secs agoAH2012 Let's block ads! بخوانید...

iOS - In-app purchases and beta testing

Vote count: 0 I am about to test my app with my exteal testers. I will give them a sandbox account to test my in-app purchases. My in-app purchases are hosted with Apple. My question is, after the testing finishes, I disable app testing in iTunesCoect, I submit my app to Apple, and my app becomes available on the App Store. My testers download my app from App Store. Will the in-app purchases they tested still be there? Will installation from App Store act as a app update? I tried disabling app testing in iTunesConect just now by making it "Not available for testing" and I'm still able to use my app, and test in-app purchases. If I can't disable my app from testing then testers will get all m...

Test each element of array for factors of 5 in C++

Vote count: -4 I had a question for the following problem (FCTRL from Codechef) I am trying to enter in an arraysize. I am then trying to test each number in the array. The test for each number in the array is how many powers of 5 go into to it. i.e if the number is 4617; 5^1 : 4617 ÷ 5 = 923.4, so 923 factors of 5 5^2 : 4617 ÷ 25 = 184.68, so 184 additional factors of 5 5^3 : 4617 ÷ 125 = 36.936, so 36 additional factors of 5 5^4 : 4617 ÷ 625 = 7.3872, get 7 additional factors of 5 5^5 : 4617 ÷ 3125 = 1.47744, so 1 more factor of 5 5^6 : 4617 ÷ 15625 = 0.295488, which is less than 1, so stop. I then wish to add these up. However, ruing for an array size of 1, and the test number 1024, I get...

Should I avoid hitting the database on tests as a shortcut to fill object with valid data?

Vote count: 0 I have a test suite which works against a dedicated copy of the real database. In genereal I try to avoid accessing the DB when doing unit testing especially because unit tests should run fast (I don't care so much if it tests more than one class/method because my tests are more of functional tests). However I have a code that creates a complex object by filling it from the database and it would be a lot of work do create one "manually" from code or mocking one to bring it to a valid state. I was trying to bring it once from the database and then just do a deep clone of it and work from memory instead of from DB whenever a tests requires this object (in order to optimize perfor...

TestUtils.Simulate.change doesn't update value of input

Vote count: 0 I make a very easy component to test the TestUtils.Simulate reactJS method. But I don't know why this method doesn't update the value of my component. Spring security filter with Jersey test 2

Vote count: 0 In my Jersey 2 based rest application, I have added spring security filter chain to check authentication. Everything works well except during unit-test if I try to add that security chain I get 500 error (and the code pointer never goes to service resource methods). According to this ticket, adding filter chain in JerseyTest should be fixed by now. But I am yet to find a way to do it properly. My JerseySpringTest class look like this: @RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRuer.class) @ContextConfiguration(locations = {"classpath:META-INF/applicationContext-test.xml", "classpath:META-INF/security-context.xml"}) @ActiveProfiles("unit-test") @WebAppConfiguration public abstract class JerseySp...

Possible to test if a variable contains only a specific value?

Vote count: 0 I'm working on a script that compares an AD user's group memberships to an existing list. One of the things I want to check for is if the user does not belong to any of the groups on the list and only to the default "Domain Users" group that all domain users are a part of, then it should output a message like, "TestUser01 is not a member of any of the groups" Is there an operator that can check to see if that is the only value that exists? My script may be a bit odd since it's not testing against objects but the string equivalent of the object value, so that may be where my problem lies. I'm not quite sure. Partial output of the script is below. I did it this way because it was...

How can I use hypothesis, and pytest-tornado yield-based testing, in the same test case?

Vote count: 0 I'm writing py.test tests of my code that uses the Toado library. How can I use Hypothesis in my tests that involve coroutines and the IOLoop? I've been able to write yield-based tests without Hypothesis by using pytest-toado's @pytest.mark.gen_test, but when I try to combine it with @given, I receive the following error: FailedHealthCheck: Tests run under @given should retu None, but test_both retued instead. See http://hypothesis.readthedocs.org/en/latest/healthchecks.html for more information about this.
