Fastest way to find string in file PHP

Vote count: 0 I would like to know which is the fastest way to find a string in a file using PHP. I have been told than the quickest way to read a file was using file() function, but to find a string in the whole file I will have to do a foreach. Whereas if I use file_get_contents or something, I just have to do a str_pos() on the file. asked 36 secs agoAri Zala Let's block ads! بخوانید...

Test the equality of multiple arguments with Numpy

Vote count: 0 I would like to test the equality of multiple args (i.e. it should retu True if all args are equal and False if at least one argument differs). As numpy.equal can only handle two arguments, I would have tried reduce but it, obviously, fails: reduce(np.equal, (4, 4, 4)) # retu False because... reduce(np.equal, (True, 4)) # ... is False asked 27 secs agofloflo29 Let's block ads! بخوانید...

How to supply a mock class method for python unit test?

Why are physical devices crashing my XCTest UI tests randomly?

Using AngularJS ngModel and Form Validation to $watch two elements and test if they are equal whenever either input changes

Vote count: 0 What I am trying to do is create a directive which compares two password inputs and triggers invalid if either changes. I have found a few examples and have tried a few and have combined a few in my own attempts. However, I have only been able to toggle the validity with $setValidity when the confirm password field changes. When you change the password field it doesn't trigger the invalidity of the comparison. Here's my directive: app.directive("passwordVerify", function() { retu { require: "ngModel", scope: { passwordVerify: '=', }, link: function(scope, element, attrs, ctrl) { scope.$watch(function() { var combined; if (scope.passwordVerify || ctrl.$viewValue) { combined = sc...

How I can force a website to use the latest version of CKEditor.js with a Userscript?

Vote count: 0 I'm new to CKEditor and relatively new to JavaScript. I'd like to make a script/Userscript to force some sites that already use CKEditor to use the latest version of ckeditors.js to be able to use the new features. A good example is http://www.pageorama.com which use the old 3.6.2 version. You can see the version easily with alert(CKEDITOR.version); I already know how to destroy CKEditor instance with CKEDITOR.instances.editor.destroy() and add things to the toolbar. My main problem now is to have the latest CKEditor version to be used when I reload it with CKEDITOR.replace(editor); , This was I will be able to config it with the latest feature on site that use CKEditor. Select pytest tests dynamically at the beginning of test run

Vote count: 0 I'm writing unit tests for my Python app with pytest. Most of my experience with unit test writing comes from Javacript frameworks such as Jasmine, where you can mark singly mark tests to run in next test round with word 'fit' or mark test to be excluded with word 'xit'. 'fit' is nice during development when I want to run only very specific subset of tests to reduce run time and results output clutter. Xit is already implemented with mark.skip decorator, but I'd like to have fit. How I can configure pytest to do something like following: Collect all tests Check if there is any tests marked with decorator @pytest.mark.only decorator. If any is found, run only those tests, otherw...

fastest method to read big data files in python

Vote count: 0 I have got some (about 60) huge (>2 gig) CSV files which I want to loop through to to make subselections (e.g. each file contains data of 1 month of various financial products, i want to make 60-month time series of each product) . Reading an entire file into memory (e.g. by loading the file in excel or matlab) is unworkable, so my initial search on stackoverflow made me try python. My strategy was to loop through each line iteratively and write it away in some folder. This strategy works fine, but it is extremely slow. From my understanding there is a trade-off between memory usage and computation speed. Where loading the entire file in memory is one end of the spectrum (compu...
