Jenkins: Can I assign a specific port to a test run?

Vote count: 0 I know this is a newb question but, along with a few other tasks, setting up Jenkins has been thrown into my lap and now I'm scrambling. I'm brand spanking new to Jenkins btw. Writing tests in Visual Studio / C# and using the TFS plugin to move the tests over to an AWS virtual box where Jenkins lives. I'm using Chrome and downloaded most of the packages through NuGet I'm using nunit as well so I'm able to grab the latest version and run nunit-console.exe along with the test dll... the test starts and the problem is during the 'setup'. How to temporarly go back to previous versions of your code but preserve the latest changes in Git

Vote count: 0 I have a Git repository with 2 tags, named version-1 and version-2. I'm currently working on what would be version-3 of my app, the code has changed a LOT since version-2 and I still have a lot of work to do to release version-3 but there are some changes/fixes that I would like to do to version-2 and I was wondering if it would be possible to go back to tag version-2 make the changes (bug fixes) and then go back to where I left. Is it possible to go back to tag version-2 make some changes (bug fixes) make tag version-2.1 release changes and then come back to where I left? If yes, what would be the process? Jasmine test for method call inside Ajax on Dom element

This should occur on successful ajax responses. However, it is initialized inside an ajax call and I'm not sure how to test this. The javascript function that makes the ajax call is updateResults(). C++ method works in unit test but not in actual use

Vote count: 0 I have a number of C++ projects that are related. I am developing under RHEL 6 using Netbeans 8.1 as the IDE. I am using the GNU toolchain. These projects share a couple of libraries. One holds a set of simple utilities like converting a string to uppercase or getting "root"s home directory. That getRootDir method has started giving me grief and I am not sure why. It is not a complex method. It calls getpwuid(0) and puts the result in a struct passwd *pwd structure. It works in the unit test. I can't easily debug it in operation. I have syslog calls that dump diagnostic info in the logs. I can't attach to the process (or don't know how) because it is forked from a login process...
