OpenGL offscreen rendering and reading the pixel values with a HIDDEN window using glfw

Vote count: 0 I need to render a 3d model into many views and the image size is much larger than screen resolution, so I can not open a so large window and I do not need to open a window to see the rendering result, too. I only want to render the 3d model into many images with different viewpoints. I find this tutorial, http://www.opengl-tutorial.org/intermediate-tutorials/tutorial-14-render-to-texture/, and I try to use glGetTexImage and glReadPixels to read pixel values from fbo. The problem is if the window is not hidden, it is OK. If I set the window hidden using glfwWindowHint(GLFW_VISIBLE, GL_FALSE); I can only read the background color from fbo using glGetTexImage or glReadPixels. And...

Bootstrap's multiple selectpicker using Ruby on Rails

I already have everything I need installed, but I don't know how to embed my current .erb code into the syntax needed for the selectpicker multiple class to work. Empty email field of Firebase Auth User using Facebook Login Integration (Firebase 3.0)

Vote count: 0 I have successfully deployed tutorial code from https://firebase.google.com/docs/auth/android/facebook-login for integrating Firebase Auth logins with Facebook. The users successfully created in Firebase Auth console. However, I noticed that the Email field in the user object is empty (—). Strangely, I successfully retrieved the email information directly from provider result objects using GraphRequest using the acquired token. Based on the documentation I read (https://firebase.google.com/docs/reference/android/com/google/firebase/auth/FirebaseUser.html#getEmail()), the email field should be populated from login providers. Some additional strange behaviour: After successful lo...

Need suggestions on generic java monitoring code using TImer and callback mechanism

Vote count: 0 Problem Statement : I am executing a REST API and getting the response which gives a String based status of a job which is either "RUNNING","COMPLETED","FAILED" etc and I want a GENERIC monitoring mechanism that will use Timer to delay the REST call based on intervals (with a time out) and check the status, i.e if status is RUNNING, wait for an interval of 30 secs and again execute the REST Call. It should exit out of the monitoring code if either the Timer times out based on the timeout value provided or if the status moves to COMPLETED or FAILED state. The execution of the REST API would be implemented in a method. And therefore I want the monitoring mechanism to be generic s...

Not receiving notifications on iOS when using an adhoc distribution certificate/provisioning profile

Vote count: 0 I created the certificate and the provisioning profile based on an App Id which has both development and production enabled push notification settings. First I was trying the App Store distribution provisioning profile (but then I realised that kind of provisioning profile is only suitable for sending to App Store - in fact I wasnt managing to deploy), then I realised I could use Ad-hoc to use a release build and specify the devices that I was going to deploy on: which I did. I got the .p12 to upload into Azure and I also set Azure with the production .p12. Using this configuration, the app deploys and runs properly, the push plugin manages to register and I can see the registr...
