It takes about 7 minutes to run on my laptop and 56 minutes to run on a server that I uploaded it to. Obviously, the environment is different, but the difference in speed (8x!) was a little too egregious for me to just write it off as different environments. Both machines have plenty of memory, and the server has more cores than my laptop, but also more stuff ruing on it (plus I don't think the cores matter for this operation). Vote count: 0 I have a web page with around 10 JS files, and within the web page there should not be any form of outgoing request made by JS, that is, the scripts should be able to run locally without any HTTP request to other sites. The thing is, I didn't write the JS code, so how do I figure out if JS is making contact with other servers? Browser's console doesn't seem to be helpful with that.
