How to set the value of a macro using environment variable or command line in verilog?

Vote count: 0 I want to define a macro during runtime in Verilog using environment variable. For example, I want to print some text to a file only when the DEBUG macro is set. `define DEBUG 0 ... if(DEBUG) $fwrite(file,"Debug message"); How can I override the definition of DEBUG to 1 when ruing the simulation from command line or using environment variable? Alteatively, I could keep the macro undefined and use ifdef `ifdef(DEBUG) $fwrite(file,"Debug message"); In this case I would have to define the macro DEBUG when ruing the simulation. Is this possible? I am using Modelsim. Thanks. asked 20 secs agoShafeey Let's block ads! بخوانید...

Backslah() in .proprties file is being ignored by Spring's 'Environment' variable

Vote count: 0 I am trying to load a .proprties file data in a Spring @Configurtion java class using @ProprtySource and 'Environment' variable. Issue is, I have a property which has value like: serverName = abcxyz When I read this property by using method, String server= env.getProprty("serverName"); System.out.print(server); Value is printed as "abcxyz". Please note that, I tried using double backslash like, serverName = abc\xyz but still it is simply ignoring from the value string. Also I can not use forward slash in place of backslash. Can you help me in fixing it? Thanks in advance!! asked 5 mins agoSanjeev Let's block ads! بخوانید...

Vote count: 0 Sometimes when I close and reopen Eclipse, my library paths and environment variables that I set for Spark disappear. The values and the keys for the environment variables disappear as if I had never configured them. I have to reconfigure them each time and it is tedious. Is this normal or is something wrong with my Eclipse config. Eclipse Config with spark Eclipse Config with spark asked 1 min agodhananjaysuresh Let's block ads! بخوانید...

Laravel artisan command can ready environment variables when manually called but not on schedule

Vote count: 0 I've written an Artisan command which dispatches a job. The job uses Google Cloud Vision (Image Recognition API) through the Google App Engine. It authenticates the API coection using the standard $this->google_client->useApplicationDefaultCredentials();. The command works perfectly as expected when I manually run it in Artisan. The problem arises when I place the job as a scheduled command in my Keel.php. protected function schedule(Schedule $schedule) { $schedule->command('aotate:top')->everyMinute(); } The command executes every minute as expected however, digging in to the laravel.log file, I see that it is failing and the stack trace identifies that it "Could not load the ...
