I was recently working on a web application where multiple javascript frameworks namely Jquery and Prototype were used. I understand that typically only one base javascript framework is selected. Is having multiple frameworks a bad practice ?
Given the current state of the project, is it better to consolidate towards a single framework ? Between the 2 frameworks, I would gravitate towards Jquery as it has robust community support and activity behind it vs Prototype where the last commit was more than a year back in Jan 2016.
