My desktop has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 with 4GB DDR3 and I plan on upgrading to an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 with 8GB DDR3, I have read mixed reviews online and it seems as though too slow of a dedicated PHYSX dedicated graphics card would actually decrease your frame rate. Seeing as the 745 would sell for very cheap and I would feel bad not using all of my hardware, will I see an improvement in performance? Is there any way that I could utilize my old graphics card?
