protractor with loop inside another loop

I have another question regarding loops in protractor. I had asked a similar question but I am stuck with something else.

this is my code:

cnt = element.all(by.options('some option')).count();


cnt.then(function (actualCount) {
            for(var x = 0; x < actualCount; x++){

and it works really.

in the for loop, I want to perform this:

elm_cnt = element.all(by.cssContainingText('.btn','Find out ')).isDisplayed().count();

elm_cnt.then(function(e){ 
console.log('val:'+e);
}

the for loop executes the right number of times but e in

elm_cnt.then(function(e)

always retus the same value every time e.g. 20

It would be great if someone could explain & propose a solution.
