So there's that one program written in C. It's on GPL license and I want to modify it for my own purposes only. Problem is: I don't know C. I don't know if it's okay with your site's policy, but I need help in modifying it.

^ this is the code, and in line 2015 there is a message encryptor. I need it gone. I mean.. if the message comes in in UTF-8 I want it to push it to the server as UTF-8, because this is an old and unsupported program and the server it's sending messages to didn't support unicode back then, but it does right now, and I really need it.
Is there any way to do it?
