OpenPop not workin as expected in windows server 2012

Recently we have migrated from windows server 2003 to windows server 2012. We are using OpenPop to get the mails from the mail box and convert it into xml files. Application was working fine in windows server 2003. but we are getting an xml invalid error windows server 2012.

Below is the sample which shows the diffece between the xml generated in windows server 2003 and windows server 2012

In Windows server 2012 formating is placed in tags which is throwing the server
