I have a hyperlink that runs a function, refreshes a parent window and closes a popup window.
<a href="#" onclick="javascript:DoSave(); window.opener.location.reload(); window.close('Edit')">Save Record</a>"
The link works correctly in both FF and IE but for some reason not Chrome. In Chrome, the parent window reloads and the window closes, but the DoSave() function doesn't seem to run at all. Is there a better way or best practice to do this? I am open minded to all suggestions, but for my purposes a link like this will be the easiest to implement.
I am new to posting but have read the rules and hopefully this meets the requirements for posting. Please inform me if this is not the case.
