I'm trying to webscrape some data from a joual's website (article title, authors, etc.) In particular I wan info from this website http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/joual/03043878/111
Problem is that when I run
require(RCurl)
appUrl <- getURL('http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/joual/03043878/111')
I doesn't work (it spits a really long error).
I haven't been able to figure out what it is since when I do
require(RCurl)
appUrl <- getURL('http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/joual/03043878/100')
Everything works like a charm. Its the same webpage essentially, but a different joual volume.
