I want to create classes in C++ that use existing reserved application memory(via shared memory, arrays of bytes, etc of specific size in bytes) for their allocation algorithm for primitives and structs(rather than praying that the malloc finds the memory it needs).
Is there a standard way to accomplish this, or do I have to invent such an algorithm myself?
