I know that some questions have already been asked about this subject but it's not the theory of the boot function that constitute my problem but rather the application Admitting I want to use the mean of my sample as a statistic, I have an error when computing : b <- boot(data, mean(data), 500) or b <- boot(data,2.54,500) error : couldn't find function statistic. Can someone point out where the problem is and give me an adequate way to define the mean of my sample as a second argument for the bootfunction
My data (mean = 2.54) 1.80 1.50 1.70 2.00 1.70 1.70 1.60 2.60 3.07 2.46 2.42 4.20 2.93 2.92 2.58 2.10 1.54 1.94 1.56 1.75 1.72 1.61 1.73 1.82 2.11 1.58 2.22 1.93 2.54 2.69 1.65 2.33 4.68 2.58 2.32 2.90 3.36 2.83 3.47 3.65 3.19 1.67 2.16 2.14 2.12 4.71 3.27 2.26 4.17 2.69 1.59 4.71 3.27 2.26 4.17 2.69 1.59 1.75 1.75 3.57 2.76 2.76 4.76
