I have two React Native projects: company-ui and myApp.
In company-ui I have our custom company font file, and a thin "wrapper component" of the React Native Text component (I call it StyledText), which sets the styling property fontFamily to this font file (fontFamily: 'myCustomFont').
When ruing the project on devices, both iOS and Android, it works: the font gets loaded. Great.
In the myApp project I have company-ui as a dependency. Due to it has custom fonts, I have used pm link to add the font files to the myApp project, so actually both company-ui and myApp have the font files in their project directories.
The problem now: When I run myApp on Android, the font files are NOT being loaded and applied to the text. On iOS it works, but not on Android.
I suspect that the search paths on Android are being messed up, due to importing my StyledTextcomponent from company-ui, but I have not been able to succesful debug this.
If anyone knows how to solve this, or can succesful debug this, I would really appreciate it.
