I have to create an application with Java EE, in which it has to be possible to save a couple of things persistently using JPA.
As I have never worked with Java Persistence Entities before, I don't really know how to do it.
My server runs on JBoss if that is of any relevance.

Do I need an exteal database to store them in? If yes, which one should I use? The simplest one will suffice.

Also: I want to dynamically generate user pages. Is there any way to save them persistently too?
I thought about saving the relevant information (html element content) in persistent Entities, but that doesn't sound very elegant. How could I implement this?
