I'm attempting to add subnavigation to a mobile nav bar for a Wordpress site. The top level mobile nav bar is styled correctly and works great! But now I want to make it so that when you click on the links in the nav, the appropriate submenu displays beneath it (currently the mobile nav bar spans the width of the screen when expanded and essentially takes all of the links and stacks them on top of one another).
I'm pretty lost on how to achieve this. Can this be done with only HTML and CSS? Do I need to use jQuery? If I have to use jQuery, how do I incorporate that into an overall Wordpress theme - write the script in its own file? Thank you for any direction that you can give!
