I'm trying to send a cURL request to a Windows 7 VM on my Ubuntu machine and getting "Coection refused" on all ports I try to curl, and I can't telnet, either.
Host: Ubuntu 15.10 x64, 8GB RAM Guest: Windows 7, IE 11, 1GB RAM(from here https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/tools/vms/linux/)
I can ping the machine from both the host and the guest, but when I try to curl I get this:

I need to be able to send GET requests to the Windows guest machine to interact with software that is installed on there that interfaces with hardware(or simulator).
