We're ruing apache storm 1.0.0 on redhat and while trying to query an mssql database from within a bolt using Kerberos authentication
jdbc:sqlserver://xxxyyy;databaseName=zzz;integratedSecurity=true;authenticationScheme=JavaKerberos
we are getting the following exception
[com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.terminate(SQLServerCoection.java:1884), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.KerbAuthentication.intAuthInit(KerbAuthentication.java:175), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.KerbAuthentication.GenerateClientContext(KerbAuthentication.java:278), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.sendLogon(SQLServerCoection.java:3047), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.logon(SQLServerCoection.java:2511), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.access$100(SQLServerCoection.java:42), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection$LogonCommand.doExecute(SQLServerCoection.java:2497), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.TDSCommand.execute(IOBuffer.java:6703), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.executeCommand(SQLServerCoection.java:1929), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.coectHelper(SQLServerCoection.java:1540), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.login(SQLServerCoection.java:1204), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.coectInteal(SQLServerCoection.java:1040), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerCoection.coect(SQLServerCoection.java:554), com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver.coect(SQLServerDriver.java:1019), java.sql.DriverManager.getCoection(DriverManager.java:664), java.sql.DriverManager.getCoection(DriverManager.java:270), com.cacib.fia.cart.BondRfq.load(BondRfq.java:115), com.cacib.fia.storm.bolt.HitRatioBolt.prepare(HitRatioBolt.java:61), org.apache.storm.daemon.executor$fn__8226$fn__8239.invoke(executor.clj:795), org.apache.storm.util$async_loop$fn__554.invoke(util.clj:482), clojure.lang.AFn.run(AFn.java:22), java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745)] Integrated authentication failed.
Ruing as a standalone application everything works fine.
We've created a Kerberos keytab for out service account but it is not clear to me how storm workers can use the right one?
I have tried to use the ext jdbc storm library but couldn't find an example that uses Kerberos authentication.
Further, does anyone know how to configure java.util.logging.Logger in storm so that I could get logs generated by java.util.logging.Logger ?
Any help is really appreciated.
Many thanks
