I considering to get rid off app. server. The server is ruing tens of war applications. Is it possible to tu this into microservice like architecture with embedded server per app with equal hardware? I am conseed about multiple(tomcat,jetty) instances memory consumption. How can I roughly estimate this. What are pros for having separate heaps per app vs one big heap? How will it behave during peak CPU/memory? I would like to hear any experiences with similar real environments.
