I access the site through an IIS proxy (installed following the tomcat's documentation). If i modify a .jsp of the webapp to display "" , I get the useame i'm hopping for, my windows account. It worked in few versions of Tomcat (7) but when i did upgrade to version 8 i just caot use this config: I this case when i put domain name in browser i get 404, if i will use hostname+app name it works. I have tomcat7 and it is started (can access our application) but the icon on the taskbar says it is not. I checked services.msc also and it says it is stopped. Vote count: 0 We are having an we application which is hosted on UNIX server and where apache and tomcat instances are ruing.often the web page is not opening for search functionality is not working...to fix that we need to restart the apchae-tomcatctl instances..but when we are executing the command ./apache-tomcatctl status..it is showing as up.but the application page is not coming..we then stopped and start the service.. For permanent fix we are hoping to put alert on Apache and tomcat instances and want to receive mail when it gets stuck or stopped.so is there any possible way to do that??? In Eclipse Mars EE I added Tomcat 7 and 8 as servers (see the picture below). Then I built the project (Maven), opened the Servers tab in Eclipse and clicked on No servers are available.
