Rancher: Nginx configuration to access rancher server at https:/rancher

Vote count: 0 I am trying to set up an Nginx reverse proxy server which will perform https termination for multiple docker containers one of them being the Rancher server. My wish is to set up the reverse proxy server as following: https:///rancher -> rancher-server https:///jenkins -> jenkins-master ... How do I move my ServiceStack API from HTTP to HTTPS selectively

Vote count: 0 I followed the tutorial deploy and run Service Stack application on Ubuntu Linux and I got my API quickly up and ruing. So far it's all plain-text though. I'd like to secure the API with SSL, especially the service receiving useame and password, but maybe everything. I'm using the regular CredentialsAuthProvider together with JwtAuthProvider at the moment, if it's relevant. Using a 3rd party OAuth2/OpenID Coect would solve the login problem, but not securing the remaining contents. Also wonder how to selectively choose which services require SSL. Cookie value does not work in HTTPS in REACT .JSX file

Vote count: 0 I hope someone can help. I am using REACT to build my front end application. I purchased a template from a website. Everything works fine except. I am trying to pass the session id from a node.js layer to React layer. However, the session id was able to be passed into the React layer perfectly but not in HTTPS protocol. Here is how I set the session cookie and coect to REACT. var unplug = reactCookie.plugToRequest(req, res); try { Router.run(routes(), location, function(e, i, t) { // passing the session user object into the router i.children = {}; i.children.user = req.session.user; console.log("react router params:"); console.log(i); reactCookie.save("sessionId", req.sessionID...

PHP Composer Satis is not connecting to the VCS repository via HTTPS

aws lambda how to store an image retrieved via https in S3

Vote count: 0 I am trying to write a lambda script that can pull an image from a site and store it in S3. The problem I'm having is what kind of object to pass as the Body attribute into the S3.putObject method. In the documentation here it says it should be either new Buffer('...') || 'STRING_VALUE' || streamObject, but I'm not sure how to convert the https response into one of those. Here is what I've tried: var AWS = require('aws-sdk'); var https = require('https'); var Readable = require('stream').Readable; var s3 = new AWS.S3(); var fs = require('fs'); var url = 'https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/1d/AmazonWebservices_Logo.svg/500px-AmazonWebservices_Logo.svg.png' ex...

How to get XML data from https url in Android

apache configuration extension doesn't work with https

I tried and restarted the httpd of course, but still not working. Simple HTTPS GET from the AngelList API with NodeJS and Request

Vote count: 0 I have managed to grant access from the user, thus to get the access_token as needed to retrieve the data from the Angellist API. The next step is to fetch the user data. As we can read from the Angellist API, you do this by authenticated HTTPS GET requests: Use the Token Any requests that require authentication must be made using HTTPS, with the access token provided in the HTTP Authorization header, request body or query string. AngelList only supports Bearer tokens, as defined in http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-oauth-v2-bearer-08. An example using the query string: GET https://api.angel.co/1/me? access_token=... HTTPS on a EC2 instance

Vote count: 0 I have an EC2 instance on Amazon (AWS). The instance is behind a ELB (Elastic Load Balancer). I want to allow HTTPS coections to reach the EC2 instance. Is it necessary to have the load balancer configured for HTTPS, ie, to check the certificates etc, or can this just be done traditionally within the EC2 instance and virtual host SSL configuration ? The reason I'm asking is because I have allowed traffic via ELB -> EC2 for port 80 and 443, but only port 80 reaches the instance. asked 1 min agoJanpan This entry passed through the Full-Text RSS service - if this is your content and you're reading it on someone else's site, please read the FAQ at fivefilters.org/content-only/faq.p...
