Here is how it is done : the app use a route like oauth/v2/token to which it gives the useame, password and other stuffs like client_id and client_secret. I have been trying to figure out a way to do that, and it seems the general approach is to use SoAP based queries. I am not conversant with SoAP, I know that LDAP is a normal service and I may be able to directly bind to the port and authenticate like with any other LDAP service using php-ldap on client.
